A Day at Cuddles
A Structured Yet Flexible Routine
Daily routines help children feel safe while giving them space to explore, create, rest and learn through play.

Welcome and Free Play
Gentle drop-off, settling in and child-led play while being supervised by the carers. During this time children are encouraged to explore a variety of learning areas at their own pace, helping them build confidence, independence and positive relationships.
Morning Circle Time
Songs, stories, communication and introducing the rhythm of the day to the children. This group time promotes language development, listening skills and a sense of belonging. During this time children are encouraged to participate, share ideas and develop social confidence.
Group Activities
Creativity, sensory, language-rich and problem-solving experiences based on children's interests. Activities are planned to support all areas of development through hands-on exploration and play. Children are encouraged to think creatively, work together and develop new skills in a fun and engaging environment.
Outdoor Learning
Fresh air, movement, exploration and active play that support physical development. Children enjoy opportunities to investigate things outside, develop gross motor skills and build resilience through active outdoor experiences. Outdoor play also encourages curiosity, confidence and wellbeing.
Mealtimes
Calm, social mealtimes that encourage routine, independence and wellbeing. Children are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits by exploring nutritious foods in a positive and supportive environment. Mealtimes promote self-help skills, independence and positive social interactions.
Rest Time
Quiet recovery, comfort and sleep according to each child's need. A peaceful environment allows children to rest, recharge and support their emotional and physical wellbeing. Individual routines are respected to ensure each child feels comfortable, safe and secure.
Story Time and Creative Activities
Books, music, art and imaginative play are all explored during this time. Children express themselves through creativity while developing language, imagination and fine motor skills.
End of Day
We end each day with calm, enjoyable experiences that encourage reflection, celebrate children's achievement and support a smooth, positive transition home.
Daily routines connected to learning outcomes
Every part of the day supports children's social and emotional development, communication, physical skills, cognitive growth, creativity and imagination.
